Hiking

The southern side of the Alps offers all you need for a relaxing hiking holiday. There is something for everyone: short hikes, but also demanding tours are possible.

What you need to know:

What do you need to bring along?

Good clothes (appropiate for the weather conditions) Good shoes And a good mood

Where do we meet?

At DolomitActiv or directly at the hiking parking space. We will arrange it when you book.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Our motto is: “There is no such thing as bad weather only bad clothing!” If there is a thunderstorm we will not go or must stop (act of nature beyond control).

What requirements need to be met?

You should not have any severe illnesses (or tell us about it). An average fitness for a 2-3 hour tour in the mountains is enough.

“Hiking is a popular sport having especially in South Tyrol an important role. But hiking in the Dolomites is more than just going for an ordinary walk. If you are spending your hiking holiday with a certified hiking guide, he will show you hidden places (which you could almost call tiny miracles of nature) which you may never find without a companion knowing the area.

South Tyrol has a lot of attractive landscapes being offered for free by mother nature- but those also need to be protected. Your hiking guide will show you the most beautiful places.

Take no risks- Go hiking with an experienced and certified hiking guide.

You do not necessary have to climb up 3000m to experience the nature. Hiking on small forest paths next to flowering fields to a mountain hut where you can enjoy traditional food, is also fun. But of course, there are also hut-to-hut trekking tours with overnight stays.

Are you interested in certain hikes? We introduce you to for instance sunrise hikes here!”
